About Us

Atlantic Practice Services is an Atlantic Canadian company founded by Bill Tingley in 1992. Since then our specialty has been in the marketing, valuation and selling of dental practices. Our team will also work on a contract basis with clients interested in purchasing a practice. The quality of our services have only strengthened and grown over the last 25 years. At the same time our objectives remain the same as we strive to create equally-beneficial situations for the vendor and purchaser.

In addition to dental practice valuation, financing and sales we draw upon the experience of our team, dating back to 1970, to provide sage advice to dentists in developing their practice.


Ryan Quick

President

Ryan was hired by RBC shortly after graduating from St. Francis Xavier University in 2000. He worked in various roles, from Branch Manager to Commercial Account Manager for several types of businesses before taking on an Account Management position that specialized in healthcare. In this role, Ryan gained a wealth of expertise through working day-to-day with his many valued clients. He became a trusted business advisor to many dentists, especially those who were new to practice ownership. Over the course of the last decade, Ryan financed more dental practices than any other account manager in Atlantic Canada.

Ryan purchased Tingley Practice Marketing Services from Bill Tingley in 2017 and is working towards ensuring its continued success under it's new brand of Atlantic Practice Services.

When he's not working hard at the office, Ryan, his wife, and their young family, can be found enjoying all the benefits of living in beautiful Porters Lake.

Bill Tingley

Founder

With a career spanning more than forty years Bill has experience in all facets of the dental industry. Beginning as a sales rep for Unident Bill travelled all over the Maritimes calling on dentist and dental labs. In 1983 he accepted a management position with Ash Temple and in the ensuring years grew the Halifax Branch into one of the most successful in Canada. As a result of his efforts Bill became a Vice President of Ash Temple in 1991. With a growing demand for Practice Valuations and Sales Bill started his own company "Tingley Practice Marketing" in 1992. Bill has valued hundreds of practices in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland Labrador and has facilitated many Dental Practice Sales. Bill's guiding principal has always been to work in the best interest of the dentist.
